I recently met two friends on a weekday for Happy Hour at the Ten Ten Room. Happy Hour runs from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
Happy Hour features $1 off house cocktails, draft beer and appetizers as well as three choices of wine (Prosecco, Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir) for $6 a glass.

I was the first to arrive and was warmly greeted by the bartender – who invited me to choose whatever table suited my fancy. It was 4:00 p.m. and there were a number of tables to choose from. I decided to pass on the high-top tables in the immediate vicinity of the bar.
A waiter arrived shortly after I seated myself. When I informed him I was expecting two others he provided the table with three menus and took my order – a glass of the Love Noir Pinot Noir.
I did not have long before my friends arrived. One of the two had not been there before.
One friend ordered the Benziger Sauvignon Blanc, and the other an Espresso Martini (Absolut Elyx Vodka, Kahlua, Cold Brewed Espresso, Demerara Sugar). All regular priced house-drafted cocktails, both originals and classics such as the Harvey Wallbanger, Old Fashioned and Grasshopper, are $10.
The three of us spent some time “catching up” and decided that another round of drinks was in order. Neither of my friends was hungry so we passed on appetizers. One friend mentioned that on another occasion she had tried the Onion Dip with House Made Potato Chips ($6) and that she would order it again.
The two of us drinking wine ordered the same, and my other friend decided to try the White Linen Slush (Bulldog Gin, Elderflower Liqueur, Cucumber, Lemon).
After we ordered our second drink I looked around and noted that most of the tables were occupied – as was the bar. I like the vibe at the Ten Ten Room, and it appears others have found it to their liking as well.
I look forward in the future to trying the food offerings at the Ten Ten Room once again – and hope that it will not disappoint.
