Welcome to SacramentoRevealed.com! My name is Kathy and I am glad you stopped by.
Sacramento has a variety of “handles” – City of Trees, River City, Sacratomato and, more recently, has been christened the Farm-to-Fork Capital. Whatever you call it – Sacramento and the Sacramento area is a very special place.
Planning to visit Sacramento? Or, are you thinking about moving to Sacramento or the region? Are you new to the area? Or, are you a long-time resident – like me?
SacramentoRevealed.com is intended to share with you All Things Sacramento – from a personal perspective.
I am a long-time resident of Sacramento, and have recently retired. I was inspired to create this blog, as a hobby, to reveal the many great amenities in this interesting and beautiful region of the Golden State.
Let’s learn together about interesting places to go and things to do – and which businesses (with an emphasis on small locally-owned) work hard and deserve our patronage.
Bottom line – SacramentoRevealed.com gives me an excuse to get out and about and explore both the familiar and unfamiliar so that I can share with you All Things Sacramento.

NEW: Since I started blogging in 2016, I have discovered that my spam filter does a great job. As a result, I no longer read comments caught in the filter – I just delete them. So, if you wrote a comment with verbiage that caused it to be sent to my spam file – that is why your comment was not approved and/or why you did not receive a reply to a question posed.

Ideal Guest Blog topics for SacramentoRevealed.com are topics that might not otherwise be covered. For example, I am not a long-distance cyclist, so I will not be sharing my favorite biking routes in the Sierra foothills. Nor do I ski, so I won’t be opining on the various nearby ski resorts. However, I am likely to check out the latest hot restaurant opening in Sacramento. You get the idea.
If your topic is compatible and approved (please do not just send a blog post without prior approval), save your blog post in Word, along with any links to pictures (at least one is encouraged). Please include a short and concise bio (a sentence or two at most).
There is no guarantee your submittal will be published as is – you may be asked to rework the post. Typos and misspellings will be edited.
