Description of Sac Open Studios 2021, featuring 240+ artists over two weekends in Sacramento and surrounding communities.
Sac Open Studios, the Sacramento Region’s largest open studio tour, will be held this year September 11-12 and September 18-19 from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
In 2021, Sac Open Studios returns to the usual in-person format. Remember to wear your mask and follow all current CDC safety guidelines! The 2020 event was “virtual” due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Preview Exhibit will be held September 9 – September 26 at the Verge Center for the Arts. I personally like to visit the Preview Exhibit before I plot out the artist studios I want to visit.
If you haven’t picked up your artist directory, which includes maps and much more, you can find it on the Verge website.
When I saw the cover of the 2021 directory, I was sure that I knew the artist. I opened the cover to double-check and I was right! The artwork, titled Paint Can (2020, PVC, Paint, Polished Aluminum with Chrome Finish), is the work of Gale Hart.
