(UPDATED 12/15/2020) Well, it is the end of another year and my first (partial) year blogging on SacramentoRevealed.com. I thought that a roundup of 2016 Sacramento restaurant reviews would be a fun, and perhaps helpful, way to end the year.
I don’t consider SacramentoRevealed.com a food blog. Nor do I consider reviewing Sacramento restaurants a major focus of SacramentoRevealed.com. My goal is to include varied topics, from a personal perspective, on “All Things Sacramento” over time.
I dine out because doing so before the theatre adds to the enjoyment of the evening. At this point I am a season ticket holder at the Broadway Series, Music Circus, and B Street Theatre.
I also like to keep in touch with friends and former colleagues – and lunch or Happy Hour is a great way to stay connected.
SacramentoRevealed.com – All Things Sacramento (from a personal perspective)
I recently had a comment made to me that questioned whether perhaps I was being too “nice” in my reviews. My response – no, I don’t think so.

When I write about a particular restaurant or business – I am saying just what I think based on my personal experience at that point in time.
Earlier this year I had what I consider a “bad” experience at a newly opened (and hyped) restaurant when I dined there the second week after it opened. However, I did not feel it was fair to write a bad review given the circumstances. So – my choice was simply not to blog about the restaurant or experience.
No one else pays for my meal when I dine out – so I don’t know when or if I will patronize that particular restaurant again. If I do – and it is a big IF – then I will share my experience (good or bad).
