(Last UPDATED 4/10/2023) Recent Stacker list of the highest-rated “cheap eats” in Sacramento (according to Tripadvisor reviews).
Stacker recently compiled a list of the 28 highest-rated cheap eats in Sacramento per Tripadvisor reviews. These data-mined lists are always interesting. I noticed right away that a number of the restaurants on the list had closed – an important fact in my book.
The COVID-19 pandemic has been hard on the restaurant industry, but not all of the closures listed can be attributed to it, and not all of the closures are what I would call “recent”.

It will come as no surprise that many of the restaurants listed are ethnic restaurants.
