Description and review of Coriander, a Vietnamese restaurant located on Alhambra Blvd. in East Sacramento.
After running errands recently, I stopped by Coriander Vietnamese Restaurant to pick up a late lunch on my way home. I had been meaning to stop by the restaurant for quite some time now.
I was greeted when I entered and provided with a menu by a pleasant young man. After ordering, I was advised that my order would be ready in approximately ten minutes.

I took a seat on a nearby bench next to the open doorway to the outdoor patio to wait after looking around the restaurant. The interior of the restaurant is quite small.
It was not long before my order was ready and I was on my way.
Coriander Menu
The menu, consisting of appetizers, entrees, a few desserts and assorted beverages is limited, but adequate. I ordered the Banh Mi Special (choice of grilled pork or chicken plus choice of drink) ($8.95). For my drink I ordered Café Sua Da (Vietnamese Iced Coffee).
Coriander Review
The Banh Mi was not the best I have ever had, but I felt it was a good deal for $8.95 including my choice of beverage. The cost of the Vietnamese Iced Coffee, if ordered separately, was $4.50. The beverage was delicious – very rich and satisfying. That night I came to regret my choice of beverage as sleep eluded me. I should know better.
