Description and review of Bliss Marketplace, a cooperative of 60+ vendors offering a wide variety of unique vintage items in Rancho Cordova.
I introduced a friend to Midtown Bliss Home & Gifts on a recent Saturday. She loved it! So much so that when she discovered that there was a second location, she immediately wanted to go that same day. I was game. After checking to make sure Bliss Marketplace was indeed open, we made our way to Rancho Cordova.

Days & Hours
Bliss Marketplace is open for a limited number of days per month plus for special occasions. You will want to check out their online schedule before trekking to Rancho Cordova.
Location
Bliss Marketplace is located in a large warehouse in an industrial area. We were using GPS to locate the address when it suddenly went silent! Luckily, my friend spotted a sign that pointed us in the right direction. Several similar signs later we pulled into the Bliss Marketplace parking lot. If you encounter the same problem – keep your eyes open.
Bliss Marketplace
We were greeted when we entered, and informed that complementary coffee, ice water and cookies was available nearby. In the vicinity there is also a place for shoppers to sit down and take a break, if needed.
Similar to Midtown Bliss Home and Décor, the individual vendors at Bliss Marketplace each have an assigned area in which to display their wares. The variety of items on display can be overwhelming!
We were in no hurry, so we wandered from booth to booth taking it all in. In addition to varied vintage items, including housewares and furniture, you will find upcycled and repurposed home décor and gifts. For example, one booth featured bird feeders cleverly crafted utilizing items commonly found in a kitchen.
After having made our way through the entire warehouse, we were ready to call it a day! Before we left my friend purchased some chalk paint as she had been inspired to try working some magic on a hall tree she has at home.
To Sum Up
Comparing the two, Bliss Marketplace appears to have more furniture than Midtown Bliss. Many of the furniture pieces have been redone with chalk paint in a “shabby chic” style.
