(Last UPDATED 12/1/2018) Living Space is now shuttered due to the retirement of the owners – but check out the update below for the exciting news as to the business moving into the old Living Space location!
Original Post
Description of Living Space, an eclectic furnishings and home accents store located on Broadway in the Land Park neighborhood of Sacramento.
I recently stopped by Living Space on my way to Target to pick up a few items. It had been some time since I was last there. Spring will be here before you know it – so I thought I would check to see what they may have in the way of garden art.
The store does not have a parking lot, but it is usually no problem to find nearby street parking. On the day I decided to drop by I secured a parking spot right in front of the building.

The outside of Living Space is very deceptive – it is much larger than it looks as it is very deep. Living Space is full of both furniture and decorative items – in a very wide variety of styles. It is one of those stores that I like to stop in from time to time – you never know when you might find a unique item that turns out to be just what you were looking for. I think of it as treasure-hunting!
One of the things I like about Living Space is that, beyond greeting you, the owners leave you alone as you make your way around the premises taking it all in. No sales pressure at Living Space. If you have a question they are always glad to assist you.
If you are looking for something in particular, and don’t see exactly what you want, there are a multitude of catalogs you can browse. Just let the owners know what you are looking for and they will point you in the right direction.
The quality and prices of the merchandise at Living Space varies. Over the years I have from time to time purchased gifts for friends and family, and I found the prices of my purchases reasonable.
While I did not make a purchase this most recent visit – I did spot a garden yoga frog that caught my eye. I just may have to stop by Living Space again sooner than later.

Updates
(12/1/18) While I was sad to see Living Space close, the good news is that the business moving into the old Living Space location will be Sunh Fish! As I often run errands on the Broadway Corridor visiting Sunh Fish will be even more convenient as I make my rounds.

(5/10/2018) I noted this past weekend an ad announcing 30%-50% off store wide – a retirement sale. I stopped by and chatted with one of the owners who said that Living Space would close for good at the end of June. I decided that now was the time to buy that garden yoga frog I had my eye on – so I did – and received 30% off!

I found the beautiful fountain for my backyard at this store. I put it under a huge crape myrtle tree. It has under water lights and a metal canopy that sits over it. It was a wonder find at this special unique furniture store.
I am sad to have Living Space close its doors – you never knew what treasure you might find!
