SacramentoRevealed.com – All Things Sacramento (from a personal perspective)
A friend and I plan to visit several of the gardens located in Sacramento. I always enjoy seeing what people do in their gardens – it is so inspiring!
All of the gardens on the tour have at least 50% California Native plants, and there will be a variety of garden styles showcasing a multitude of native plant species.
I have registered for the tour and downloaded the tour brochure. It contains both maps of the various garden locations, as well as the house address and a brief description of each garden.
Speaking of native plant gardens – if you are unable to attend the tour this year you can get your native plant fix by visiting the California Native Plant Demonstration Garden.
California Native Plant Demonstration Garden
The California Native Plant Demonstration Garden is located within the Sacramento Historic City Cemetery. The main entrance to the Cemetery is at 1000 Broadway.
The Demonstration Garden, located in the southeast corner of the Cemetery, has over 150 species of native plants from various regions of California. Volunteers maintain the Garden.
