A blog post about the Feedspot list of the Top 20 Sacramento Blogs and Websites to Follow in 2018.

Last month Feedspot updated their list of the Top 20 Sacramento Blogs and Websites to Follow in 2018 – and SacramentoRevealed.com was #15 on the list! Not bad for a blog that is not quite two years old.

Feedspot Criteria

According to Feedspot the rankings were based on the following criteria:

• Google reputation and Google search ranking
• Influence and popularity on Facebook, Twitter and other social media sites
• Quality and consistency of posts
• Feedspot’s editorial team and expert review

Family Oriented Blogs

The blogs on the list cover a wide variety of topics. I certainly wish that when my daughter was young I had resources available such as #7 This Is My Happiness (family travel and cultural experiences in Northern California), #8 SacramentoKids.net (family fun in Sacramento) and #17 Sacramento Sidetracks (resource for places to go with kids in the Sacramento area).

SacramentoRevealed.com – All Things Sacramento (from a personal perspective) 

Official Websites

The list also includes several “official” Sacramento websites such as #1 Visit Sacramento (the official visitor and travel website for Sacramento), and #3 Sacramento City Express (City of Sacramento publication to update citizens about services, accomplishments and plans).

Publication Websites

Several magazines and/or publications were also included, namely #4 Sactown Magazine (a Sacramento focused magazine), #6 Submerge Magazine (entertainment and lifestyle publication) and #16 Edible Sacramento Magazine (local food magazine).

Foodie Blogs

A favorite blogging topic – food – is well represented on the list including #10 Sacramento Vegan (Vegan dining out options in Sacramento), #12 Munchie Musings  (thoughts on food and life), and #14 Sac Foodies (all things culinary from several different perspectives).

Lifestyle Blogs

Lifestyle blogs are also popular, and the Feedspot Top 20 Sacramento Blogs list includes #5 Girls on the Grid (lifestyle blog for professional women), #9 Katie Did What Blog (family, faith, fitness and more), and #13 Chronicles of a Young Mother (by Vivienne) (lifestyle and young motherhood blog).
